Jaya, which means 'victory' in Sanskrit, was chosen by our team to honor The Setai's renowned interior designer Jaya Ibrahim and the hotel's first decade of successful Asian-inspired hospitality. Executive Chef Mathias Gervais and Executive Sous Chef Vijayudu Veena have collaborated to create standout dishes from Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, India, China and Japan.
Incorporating many traditional culinary techniques from wok stations to tandoor ovens, Jaya's menu features modern Asian cuisine with the bountiful flavors of turmeric, cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, chilies, coconut milk and tamarind and will also present longtime Setai favorites including Peking Duck, Naan breads, Indian curries, Tandoor sea bass and Dim Sums.
Food is the key thread in the fabric of Asian life and how people socialize. As such, Jaya follows this tradition serving dishes in a style to be shared in an inviting atmosphere to make for a lively experience paired with the sophistication and hospitality you've come to expect from The Setai, Miami Beach.
As our guest, you have the choice of either dining indoors or in The Setai's serene courtyard.
Menu highlights include: Egg Steam and Pork Bun Bao; Thali Platter (a traditional Indian dish filled with small pots of chicken, fish and okra); and Kimchi Fried Rice, to name a few. An Asian-focused mixology program and beer selection, sakés as well as The Setai's lavish Wine Cellar all complement Jaya's complex flavor profiles.
Jaya is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner including Sundays for The Setai's famed Jazz Brunch. Jaya is also available for in-room dining options for guests and residents staying at The Setai.

The Setai Grill's team of international culinarians, led by Executive Chef Mathias Gervais present an "East meets West" interpretation of a modern prime steakhouse featuring Asian-inspired specialty dishes. The Setai Grill’s bites, small plates and entrées are inspired by robust Asia-Pacific flavors, along with our own vibrant surroundings of Latin and South America, while using only the freshest and finest seasonal ingredients. Our exclusive cuts of dry-aged beef are sourced from the finest meat purveyor in the country: Pat LaFrieda & Son out of New York City.

Enjoy our house DJ spinning lounge music every Wednesday through Sunday, 8:00pm to midnight.

Before or after a swim in our newly beautified temperature-controlled pools, The Setai's hotel guests and residents are invited to savor light cuisine at our Ocean Grill, featuring flavors of the Mediterranean. Signature dishes include Roasted Artichokes, Salad Niçoise, premium Fruit de Mer, Steak Frites and American classics like hamburgers, pizzas and more. Accompanying lunch is a fine selection of premium wines, rosés and Champagne.
